EXTREMELY RARE 10 aur Í Gildi Official stamp in PERF 14 with "missing letter Í in front of the worf Gildi" in the upper row of the overprint. The stamp is NEVER HINGED and comes with a certificate from Lasse Nielsen. In the description of the stamp when it was sold by one of the leading auction houses in Scandinavia some years ago, it was stated that THIS COPY WAS ONE OF ONLY THREE KNOWN COPIES. The Facit catalogue price of 12.000 (FOR A HINGED COPY) makes it the highest rated Í Gildi variety on Officials. The stamp is from the collection of the late Johnny Pernerfors.

An interesting NEVER HINGED block of six 10 aur Official stamps with "Í Gildi" overprint where the upper middle stamp has the well-known "LETTER L ONLY" in the upper row of the overprint. What makes the block expecially interesting is that, in addition to the above variety, is that the entire overprint is considerably shifted to the right.
