The cover sent to the United States in 1931 with the stamp first cancelled in transit in Copoenhagen with a machine cancellation as well as a FRA ISLAND marking alongside.

15 aur Geysir as single franking on a 1938 ship letter postcard sent to a person onboard the Icelandic vessel "Brúarfoss" in Leith harbour. The stamp first cancelled upon the arrival in port in EDINBURGH with a Paquebot machine slogan cancel for the Empire exhibition in Glasgow.
