SPORTS - HOCKEY. Autograph of the Western-Icelandic hockey player Sigurður Franklín Friðriksson (Frank Frederickson) on a first day cover from 1969. Sigurdur was of Icelandic parents (1895-1979), he was a player for the team of Canada that won the 1920 Olympic Gold Medal in hockey as well as having been a player for the Victoria Aristocrats/Cougars that won the Stanley Cup in 1925.
