HoLT C1, exceptional transit strikes of the cancel on each side of a cover (stamp regretfully cut off) sent to Önundarfjörður in the 1890s. Further transit cancels from BÆR and ÍSAFJÖRÐUR.
CHINA - VERY RARE DESTINATION - FLATEYRI C2 on an amazing 5 aur double stationery card uprated with 5 aur stamp, sent via England with HULL SHIP LETTER transit and HANGCHOW arrival cancels on front. The inquiry card with full text on back, the reply card still attached (unused) with a Shanghai transit cancel on back. ONLY A COUPLE OF POSTAL ITEMS SENT TO CHINA IN THIS PERIOD ARE KNOWN TO EXIST.

Special commemorative card honoring Charles Lindbergh and his wife during their visit to Iceland in 1933. The card franked with Icelandic stamps and cancelled in Reykjavik on August 17th, while they were still staying there. The card addressed to the United States.
Commemorative cover flown with the first postal helicopter flight in Iceland in 1968 (from Keflavík Airport to Reykjavík). The cover is signed by three members of the board of the Icelandic Stamp Collectors Association as well as by the helicopter pilot on the flight.
