The 50th Anniversary of "The Match of the Century" - A Philatelic Look. A gorgeous hardcover book of a whopping 414 pages from 2022 by Michael Shumacher, Gaétan Lapierre and Jon Edwards, the text of the book is in English. The theme of the book is the myriad of collectibles that were prepared on the occasion of the "Duel of the Century" in chess held in Reykjavík in 1972, which can be linked to the collection of stamps or postcards. In the duel between the representatives of the superpowers of the United States and the Soviet Union, Robert "Bobby" Fischer and Boris Spassky, the event attracted enormous attention worldwide at the time.
